Ed: GREAT analogy..... then, I too, am a "Conservationist" Cause I realize that God DID give man dominion over the earth and the animals, but a responsibility to take care of them and the earth, but NOT to worship them like ya say.... Chuck

As a TU member, I have determined that I am a "conservationist" not an "environmentalist".  Taking care of the environment is one thing, worshipping it and putting animals on a higher plane than us is another!

Shouldn't we all consider ourselves environmentalists since the sport we
love is completely dependent on a well balanced ecosystem?  Here in MT the
'enviros' protect the headwater streams when no one else will.  Since they
are the spawning grounds of all of the fish here that's significant.  We
could just pave everything I guess.  Go hippies!

Trying to mess with someone who's legally fishing is one thing, but a lot of
anglers here give the sport a bad name.  They leave their extra large beer
cans right next to the worm cans, on the bank.  I think ignorance is a bad
thing however it's expressed, let's be careful where we go with this.
