[VFB] Feather ????

Folks: At the lake I fish at, there is a pair of big Canadian (I think that is what they are) Geese, and this yr they have four little goslings (sp). and there are some wood and mallard ducks too. Well, just now, when I was loading my boat.. I found about four wing feathers... The quill is much too big and stiff to wrap around and make the hackle with.. What else could I use big feathers like these for??? Thanks in advance, Chuck
