Title: Meddelande
Entomologists and others...

On my trout trip today, I got very close to insect life. I met a trillion of blood sucking ones, who totally ignored my new (expensive) mosquito repellent. The ultimate test: Are you a true angler ("Do you stay or do you flee?"). Well, I stayed for a good while... but when I finally WAS preparing to leave, I saw a (to me) new insect. I want to say that it was the most beautiful caddis species I've ever seen, but until I know more I'll put that on hold.

If I hadn't seen it landed, I wouldn't have thought anything about it. "Just another colorful insect..." But when it sat down on the car and folded its wings back... I just got stunned. "Nooooooo... it can't be."

What did it look like?

About 2 cm's long and had the wings of a caddis, folded back "tent style" when resting. No real color on them, but very(!) transclusent. You could easily see its body through them. But the body on this one was bright green and fairly slim, kind of "damsel slim" (no real tapering).

I haven't got a PhD in entomology (just in Jestery) so I'm asking you: Have any of you seen any starving green caddises out there?

Are there any green caddises (period)? If there are... any suggestions on this one? Let's see a VFB brainstorm. If you have something and are thinking "Nahh, he probably doesn't mean that one."... let me have it anyway so I can see for myself.

My search engines are "good to go"... and I'm loading up with energy drinks since I'll probably be up all night looking through all the suggestions of species you're going to send me.  ;o)

Thanks in advance,
/Nick
