Actually the eye can have an immune response.
It comes from when the riis gets inflamed and the vesels let everything out.That
is why the with an injury that affects the lens of the eye it has to be
removed. The lens is foreign matter to the body. The blood vessel to
the lens dissapears before the immune system is formed in the fetus. If it
was not taken out of that eye the other eye would be affected. It is
called "sympatheric opthalmia".
Wear some sort of glasses or sunglasses.
