I fish them all the time. If I'm being lazy I use preformed cork or soft foam popper bodies. If I'm feeling creative I'll use foam cylinders which I shape with a Dremel tool. With the tool, I can make Hula poppers, pencil poppers, chuggers. You can also make poppers using foam circles. I call it a fun foam popper. A local tyer showed it to me about 7or 8 years ago. Tying directions are at this site.
