You kinda hit on my upcoming comment

What kind of light do people use and how does it affect color?
Different light sources have very different "Signatures" in the
wavelengths they put out.  To skip the physics part what this does is
either mute or enhance certain colors.  What light source is closest to
daylight?  Has anybody noticed their flies suddenly changing color once
on the stream??  I tend to tie in poor light and I do occasionally get a
surprise, usually a fly that is way to "bold" with to intense a green or
red.

I was given an Ott light by my sister.  I can tell you it is amazing the

difference.  The colors are truer and the light is easier on your eyes.
