NOPE !! Nothing ever happens in Florida. Just calm tropical breezes and a steady temp of about 78 degrees all year round !! Now if you will excuse me the roofers are finally here to do some repairs caused by a very rare tropical gust we had last summer. (BTW- the roofers just showing up is factual. And where Chuck lives in the Panhandle and areas of Punta Gorda will never be the same. Whole houses and buildings are just gone or condemned and abandoned. A major bridge on I-10, the only major east-west highway in that part of the state will be under repair for years. This is the earliest I have been able to get someone. And their are LOTS of roofs in central Florida that still have blue plastic tarps on them. !!! ) (BTW- did you know that more people are killed in Florida each year than all the rest of world combined by a factor of 2 or 3 times.) If anybody wants to visit I have rooms available in July and August !! JG
