Tumeric is also good for dying fur and feather.Made some nice nymphs for
Ireland with this as dye and caught fish.Thats now makes this tying related

I also am adding Tumeric into my cooking more. It is the main ingredient
in curry, but we actually don't eat that much curry. Addition of 1/3rd
teaspoon to a cooker of rice makes the nicest yellow rice. Made that into
a nice Indian appearing yellow fried rice with chicken and veggies. Very
tasty. Will experiment on what I can add it to without affecting the
taste of food adversely.
Worth a try, anyway.
