I've built one fly rod (a 12 wt) but have repaired and restored quite
a few including 3 production bamboo rods. I keep looking at a 4 or 5
piece rod, but haven't taken the plunge. I was going to build a 10 wt
last year, but got a deal on a REdington RS 2 10 wt, that was much
cheaper than I could build a rod for, so did that instead.
