Hey Tom, what part of Vermont are you in.  Linda and I left Florida in May and stayed in a campground on the West River out of Brattleboro, Vermont.  It had been twenty years at least since I had picked up a fly rod but knowing I would be up there, I bought a Scientific Angler Set before we left.  I did not have a way to tie flies so I bought some "store-bought" varieties the locals said were good.  I did catch a good size small mouth and several panfish that I did not recognize but they ran like crazy.  Here is the irony, three weeks ago, my father-in-law who has infazema gave me his fly tying setup. He had two vises, three bobbins and other tools, hackles, saddles, just an unbelievable amount of "stuff".  Because of this group, I am learning what all of it is.  Hey, I can even do a "whip finish" already.    Eric and Linda Evans "The road goes ever on and on...down from the door where it began."
