I know what you are talking about and I remember seeing sheets of this
stuff lying around somewhere.  Very light and transluscent but tough
asnails, you can't puncture it until you get a pretty sharp point on it.
Let le think about it and see if I can remember where I saw it,  Seems
to me it might have been used as backing on a filter of some sort.
