DonO,
If you miss the humidity, I'm sure I could manage
to ship you some Louisiana humidity...

Pete,
If
you live in an area of "intense humidity", I'd suggest investing in
a stainless steel vise. Of course, IMHO.
Humidity...what's
that? (from Buggs) DonO

Vise...
Hi everyone, Here's a question for those
who have been frustrated before me: Is there a way to remove/
reverse rusting of vise jaws from intense humidity? My wife
(it may not be her fault, but i'll still blame her ;) ) painted and
wanted to leave the window open over the evening to let the fumes out of
the tying room... well... the paint STILL has yet to dry and the vise's
jaws are all rusted up. In the meantime I have a regal
look-alike / knock-off, but I kind-of liked the
griffin odyssey. My pocket isn't large enough that it holds
the big bucks (HMH or Law...), so I was hoping for some advise on how to
remove rust before it gets worse, or whether to buy a whole other jaw
set... Thanks in advance, and tight
wraps, Pete
