There is little place for frozen fish in life.  Either release it or eat it right away.  Nothing beats fresh or comes close.  The best seafood/sushi company I know of has this to say: http://catalinaop.com/faq.htm#1.  You might note that they state frozen fish is only good for 2, 3 or max 4 weeks if flash frozen at -20 degrees F and stored in a home freezer at 0 degrees F.

no freezing here, I usually release them, and when I keep one of the bigger once (happen one or two times a year) I kook them the same day. Better taste.
