Reuven, If I read your post correctly that would mean10 people tying
10 flies X 175 patterns = 1,750
total flies to tie. Most of us on this list balk at getting into swaps
with more than 25 flies to tie, exception being
Byard's sometimes annual Caddis Swap which has 100 tiers, tying 100
flies. On my swaps, I usually give 2 1/2 - 3
months just to tie 20 +- flies. I doubt you're going to get anybody to
participate.

I have a cd with close to 1700 patterns.
I was discussing it with one of the guys and thought about a long term swap.
It would be broken down amongst the number of people interested in doing it
I.e. 10 people doing 175 patterns each but 1 of each for each participant.
It would run over a long period and every 3-4 months send in what has been
done lets say an average of one fly a week.....It would be a long term thing
but not have to be high stress.
Anyone interested in doing something like this?? It is flexible and in
beginning stages. Any ideas?
