No problem Glen, I have been on the run for the past three months.
Things are slowing down a bit and am trying to get caught up on
"Promised Flies".
I have the bamboo rod tapers saved and will get some of them made over
the winter.
I have just finished reading a book " The Beaverkill". What a book
about the history of the Beaverkill, Willowemac, Mongaup Creek and
others. The history of the Dette's and the Darbee's, Roy Steenrod , Rube
Cross , Art Flick and a lot of others.
I was in Rosco and Livingston Manor six weeks ago, got to tie at the
Flyfishing Center. Stayed at the Rosco Motel right on the Beaverkill.
I hope to get back there next September again, for the Bamboo Rod
Gathering. Now that I know more about the area, I want to see some of
the places I read about.
Glad it was not destroyed with the Dam they proposed to build on the
Beaverkill.
