Hi there Joyce:

What price would I be looking at for such a cauteriser?? I am talking about
one with replaceable tips etc.

I use the cauteizer for deer hair or whenever a stray hair gets in the way
that can't be gotten with a scissors. May I suggest that you get one that
has two batteries in it. The ones with a single battery really are not worth
the money. I think that Byard can get one for you with two batteries. I know
I got mine from Chris Helm's White tail flytying supplies many years ago
when I got his first deer hair tying video. I've changed the tip many times
( they burn out with use) so be sure that the model you get also has a
replaceable tip option. Many of the single battery ones that you get from
Bass Pro don't have this option. (They're actually the disposable cauteries
that are often used in eye surgery). Joyce
