[VFB] Was MurphClave; now magnifiers

To: vfb@troutnet.com Subject: RE: [VFB] FW: MurphClave on the Tuck (long) I know them geezers!  I gave up on the FF@ (where I "met" Byard and many of you) for a few years, went back to the same old and left for good maybe a year ago.  Much better content here but some nice folks back there   Murf,   Forgot that you and Byard were also Ff’ers.  Me, I’m BI-Listual.   I do have a serious question for the group.  My absolute limit visually with glasses is 5x going into a #12 hook.  But there are obviously times when the trout demand a #18 “falderal” or a bi winged parachute bicuspid size 22, tied on 6 or 7x tippet.  How is it possible to tie with something that small .    I have progressive trifocals as it is and when I am at the bench, I need the mag glass when I am tying 12 or 14’s.   What type of optical magnifier do others use on the water in addition to your regular glasses?.   JG
