Part of Antartica is Australian territory as I understand..

I am guessing but I reckon it is the bits bounded by the south pole and a longitudes between the e.cost of oz and NZ, and a longitude between the west coast of Oz and S. Africa...

cheers Ian

R,
I guess I'll just have to sell that Monster Muddler and the other goodies I
was going to trade you. Too bad.

BTW, who owns Antartica? I want to speak to the man in charge.

I see he has been dreaming about the 'penguin fly' for quite a while! Just
to fry his brain, why don't we organise a Penguin Fly Swap- using only
feathers from a penguin....I can see his face now. He will be getting a
penguin one way or another.

I tried to tell Don O he would have the feds at his door. ☺ He'll have
good company if you two join him but I don't think they let you use sharp
instruments in jail so we'll have to chip in for an inflatable kiddie pool
and stock it with guppies for you so you can just dream about fishing while
you do your time.
LOL

Hoy Ian:
DonO had me on the same trek. I thought that maybe one would float out of
the rock wall down at St. Kilda beach(where quite a few live) or maybe a
taxidermist. Still have some to cover....these strange Americans!!

Penguins live in burrows, and the rookeries nearby tend to be well observed
by tourists et al. They are alos a protected species...
I gave up on my mission to find penguin feathers for Buggs.. Zoos, DNRE et
al were not very impressed or helpful..
I figured it would be possible catch one at a well known tourist spot where
they come marching up the beach each night.. but the thought of my pictue on
the front of the paper was a bit of a worry :-)=
cheers Ian
