I have several soft plastic three ring binders with full page plastic sleeves in them for business reports that hold my patterns and information I get off the internet.  I’ve organized them by style of fly, I have a salmon book, a trout book and Tube flies.  I suppose I could use a three hole punch instead but I use these books a lot and so I spend the extra money on it.

Subject: [VFB] filing away

I would like to hear from all of the psychotics out there on how they file away the multitude of patterns. I was going through my folders and got lost somewhere!!

What do you guys do? File wet, dry, nymphs and emergers separately?

Combine them all into e.g. beetles together? Damselflies section broken into subsections of nymphs and adults??

The options are endless and life threatening (my wife will kill me if I don’t collect all the Re-reorganized piles from the ground!!)
