Jerry,  I've decided to tie the Black Heron as a traditional tie for the Classic Spey Swap. I'm using John Shewey's book "Spey Flies & Dee Flies" as a reference. There is a good web site that has many pics of Spey Flies. These are tied by a BC tyer, Gerald G. Bartsch.
