Hi VFB, Next August, I am going to have the opportunity to host my nephew Josh (who lives in Denver) and his sister Jamie at Sugar Creek Ranch in northern California. Josh likes to fish, but has only had bait chucking opportunities, never has used a fly rod or done fly fishing.
I would like to send him an "intro to flyfishing" book scaled and geared to someone who is 14. Can someone please suggest a good starter book, with clear illustrations and photos? Thanks! Wes Wada Bend, Oregon
