ROTFL... You may have a point... I don't think I need to worry about
snakes, platypus or wombats. :) You may even have more sharks than we do.
LOL.... Well, it is beautiful country so enjoy just be sure to look over
your shoulder! If it makes you feel any better we do have a significant
amount of deer to avoid when we're driving, fortunate for me that I'm just
below moose country.
Warm Regards,
Deb

Subject: RE: [VFB] The Fly Tier's Benchside Reference

After today's fishing trip, I am not so sure!!
I went out today for 5 hours with a mate who guides (fantastic f/man) but we
didn't see a trout...only a platypus...at least no snakes this time.
Then went after a trout which hangs directly under a bridge...got bigger
than last time....scared him away again...5th attempt and still no luck!
Went after the 1/2 lb babies which always rise as the sun sets....couldn't
even get a touch...usually get 5 or 6....couldn't i.d. what the hatch
was...mix of micro caddis, duns and some little midgy things. 12 fly changes
and still diddles.
Waded a little too deep to get to them...had to pour the water out of my
waders when I got back to the car.
Drove home and just missed hitting a wombat and a fox (got off easily this
time).

As you can tell, my average trip is like the three stooges in one poor
unfortunate.
It is you deb who has nothing to worry about!!
