Jester probably feeds it #12 LeTort Crickets or #6 Dave's Hoppers FCOL. ;-) Me, I'd feed it an 8/0 African Dung Beetle "DonO's Scarab"...DonO, you do have one tied and ready at Fantasy Flies don't you?
DonO might be hitching to Key West area about now. Didn't he say the 6th? Hope he knows the northward shark migration is in full swing right now plus what size wire leaders to use...#6 with a Bimini twist connection to the hook?
Byard is playing with his new Mac5 and is unlikely to have my Whiting order in if I don't nudge him away from that thing for 5 minutes. Guess he is downloading "The Audubon Society's Greatest Birdsong Hits and Plummage Displays" with the free add-in "Top 100,000 for 2006".
Some may not know (unless they saw the Frappr pic) how much of a bird entusiast Byard is. Many a morning we'd sit on the porch playing the CD of songs with Byard's picture reference handy. It was really a nice way to start a day of fishing...cup of Byard's great coffee, sitting on the huge porch, birds in front of us singing and preening... then off to a quiet day of fishing.

It's a Chilean Rose (Grammostola rosea). Probably the most common spider to
be found in pet stores. Not very venomous and not really aggressive either.
(I've had worse.) But although it's the ultimate spider to start with, do
not underestimate those urticating abdomen hairs. They won't kill you... but
you will learn what the word "itching" really means. I've been having
hydrocortisone cream on my wrist for three days now and it doesn't seem to
slow down. All because of Jimmy's doubts. I should have told him that the
picture I sent was found on the internet and that I was bluffing. It would
have saved me a lot of agony...
