Actually, Rene, I'm considering some ideas for a "Longhorn" fly to tie up as a presentation fly for my daughter and some other kids who are set to graduate with her. Right now I'm thinking of a hairwing streamer along the lines of the Cardinal, tied in burnt orange. First step is to dye some bucktail burnt orange, since it doesn't seem to be on the shelf anywhere I've looked.
