Very cool setup.
I found out at the end of the week that a mate killed himself and yesterday
thought I'd get away from it all and went hiking alone. I took the rod to a
river that has almost ceased flowing and is just a series of pools every
couple of hundred metres. Nothing caught but almost snapped my rod a dozen
times on the track. It is a 4-piece but I wanted to be able to cast as I
walked(never been there before) and took it all set up. The mini rod would
have been perfect.......another 'must have' to add to the 'one day I'll have
to buy a......' list. I cast inside with my babies rod and reel one piece
combo gist from my local fishing store(a Shakespeare promotional thing for
the shop). Even those in my family who hate fishing play with it all day. I
have got to get one of those rods though!!

Something to pray that Santa will bring next time:
A micro set with a Spezio-made bamboo rod and a Genzling-made wooden reel.
