hmmmm, and figuring out the logarithmic growth of the fish as the years progress, it was probably about 5lb when it was actually caught!  Though if DonO is old enought to have created all, then it takes a weird mathematical twist that my mind doesn't feel like comprehending today.

THere's (or was) a real monster of a garfish in the Aquarium at the
Riverwalk in New Orleans.  300lbs. is about the top range for these, and the
length for this weight can be anywhere from 6' to 8'.

Biggest one I ever caught was in the canals by my neighborhood.  We
estimated it around 200lbs.
