As had been said above the 3M adhesive sprays are excellent. I've
used rubber cement (a bit tricky, sinc ethe tak has to be just
right...too wet and you don't get a good bond and too dry and you don't
get a good bond). These days when gluing layers of faom, if I'm
not in a hurry I use water-based contact cement, which is white, but
dries nearly clear. It takes overnight to set, though, so I glue
up the sheet I need and they get put under the Webster's complete
unaabridged dictionary overnight. the big advantage is no smell
(and thus no complaints from the wife and two daughters). a
little bit of patience relieves my life of at least a few
complaints...if I use the psray stuff, I'll due it up in my lab (more
room, better ventilation, etc.
