In
response to the give-aways, since I have been in a crappy financial situation
for too long to mention, I have been hitting the taxidermist near to my
university. I now go every couple weeks and pick up scraps that they now save
for me….On Friday I scored Roe deer and various other deer species, but most
importantly, Nyala. It is a most brilliant animal to work with. Lots of
different shades, lengths and the mane comes out to 19 cm or 9 inches long.
They are primarily dark, but so perfect for the larger flies where dark
materials and light , naturally flowing movement is of prime importance. I will
hope they have more over the upcoming weeks and I will send it over if no-one
has access. Has anyone
used Nyala before? Regards, R |
