A quick look at my desk shows that I tie by Braille, no tools are
actually visible I have to feel around under tons of stuff until I feel
the right one and then I use it. I CAN actually see the vise and bobbin
rack though, they stick up high enough o get above the sacred clutter.

Remember he who dies with the most fly tying stuff wins.

Subject: [VFB] Tools you are using

Girls and Boys,
a quick poll: Look at your desk, what tools are there on the desk, right

now. Which of the the whole kit and caboodle did you use during the
last week? Which tools do you use for the fly you are tying right now?

My observations: Dubbing needle, 2 scissors (one pointed, one for hair),

1 empty bobbin, one filled with a spool, 1 tweezers, 2 vises <G>, a
bunch of allen keys, a hackle pliers
Used in the last week: 1 vise, hair scissor, 1 needle, the bobbin,
tweezers, hackle pliers
For the fly right now: vise, scissor, needle, tweezers.

I whip by hand, It would take some time to find my whip finisher.

And what's your clutter?
Rene
