You ain't kidding.. I was going through all those rope dubbed flies trying to figure out ways to use, or enhance them, etc etc.. That would be enough flies for a yr or two alone LOL, Chuck

Subject: [VFB] Book I got for My B'day Yesterday

Folks: My wife and kids got me a fly tying book for My birthday yesterday, and I stayed up last night and read it "cover to cover".... I'm not sure if Byard carries it or not. They got it at a local book store .. It is called "Complete Photo Guide To Fly Tying...300 Tips, Techniques and Methods",by C. Boyd Pfeiffer and is a hardback book 128 pages, with, like it says, over 300 tips, techniques and methods of doing things, in a way that might be in the "More than one way to skin a cat" category... GREAT glossy photos, easy to understand directions.. I would recommend it to anybody, newbie and seasoned pro, You good ppl here have taught Me 99% of the tips and tricks that are in this book, but the book just puts them all together in a neat little package.....Chuck
