Sorry Byard if this is a repeat, but i'm not sure if this got to the list or not.........? So, as i was double checking to make sure i had the facts straight, i found an error on my part, and here's the clarification. First the Coastal Spade is the one with the entire body made from Peacock herl and the Inland Spade is the one with the entire body made with Ostrich herl. Of course both have a ribbing of either gold or silver French oval tinsel. It is the Fancy Spade that has the two part body (of both herls) and which is the fly i did for Murf. So Jimmy please make the nessessary name change in the recipe. I forgot to send the following info, so.
The Fancy Spade
Hook: Alec Jackson Spey, black size 3
Thread: Danville 6/0 White
Tail: Natural Deer hair
Body: rear half (abdomen), Peacock Herl twisted, front half (thorax), Ostrich herl twisted
Ribbing: French Oval Gold Tinsel
Wing/Collar Hackle: Speckled Guinea
Head: Dyed Purple with a Sharpie, and cemented with Hard Headed water based head cement and then over-coated with Sally Hansen's Mega Shine

Ok, that's it. Headed west.................YES! later, mark
