JG Please explain the term Hi-tied. What exactly does it mean in terms of fly tying?
Neville Allan, This fly is a clouser minnow tied with Polar Fibre. The fly I am looking for does not have weighted eyes. It is tied on a short shank hook #4. That is actually what I cannot remember. It looks like it is Hi-Tied, but it is not. You taper the fibre and the epoxy the head so it looks hi-tied. JG
