Hi Gang. Sorry, no quote today, have had power knocked out since last
evening. Tornado in my subdivision. Bad stuff. Lots of damage. Jody
and I were lucky. All we lost was the Gazebow on the back deck. Was
with out electricity from 11:45 p.m. last night until 2:00 p.m. this
afternoon. However, I have a power generator and was able to plug the
refrigerator and freezer into it. Some in neighborhood didn't fair as
well. Then around 11:00 a.m. today, my neighbor at the ranch called
to tell me that a car had come through the "T" at the intersection of CR
269 and my road CR 268 and tore about 20 feet of fence out. So, I had t
make a flying 78 mile trip to the ranch. In the meantime, my neighbor
and my son-in-law who lives just up the road repaired the fence. Now
get this! With the big hole in the fence from around mid-night last
night until 11:00 a.m. today, Calico, my longhorn steer didn't even try
to get out through the break. Lucky again. Filed police report and
they think they have the cuplrit. Will charge him with not giving
information on tearing my fence down. Similar to Hit and Run.
And, how was your last 24 hours??
