Subject: [VFB] Paul Whillock Book
I just got this update from Paul Whillock on his book. It looks like it's
doing very well. This is an amazing book for realistics. I'll admit it's a
little deep for me right now but I would like to try my hand at some simple
patterns in the near future. I thought this book might sell quickly. Some
of us have been waiting for this book for a while. I bought my copy months
in advance of its release.
Warm Regards,
Deb
My Dear Friends
I would like to seize this opportunity in order to thank you all for
purchasing a copy of my book "Flies as Art" . . .your response has been
truly amazing.
The book has been, or is due to be independently reviewed by magazines,
newspapers, websites and shops in over seventeen Counties with consistent
praise being heaped on the overall content though particularly; for its
ability to deliver a wealth of unique fly pattern information in a clear, no
nonsense manner using text, illustrations & photography.
It has taken well over 3 years to complete this title and to commemorate the
books launch; the Publishing Company (Bac Pie) have also released a special
binding of fifty Black leather books though all but a few of these have been
purchased.
My gratitude must also go out to the Collectors of the Limited Edition Fly
series. With only the Art Fly Spider and the Beetle editions now remaining,
the rate in which this edition sold has already come to the attention of
many specialist fly collectors who have returned suggestions that each of
the 25 books may have already appreciated in value and, could also turn out
to be quite shrewd investments for those who collect angling memorabilia!
There are still regular copies of the book available and should you know of
anyone wishing to purchase one of these remaining copies then please direct
them to my website.
My very best regards
Paul Whillock
