You can add Ireland to your "fly-fishing challenged" list.  When I was there, I went in to see if they had any good fly rods - I was thinking the latest Hardy or something on that order.  The fellow was SO excited.  He had one of the best in the world - an American fly rod.  It was an old Shakespeare glass fly rod - from about the 1960's.
