That is the only way I found to get a centered hole in
a reel seat insert, glad ir witkworked for you.

The white dots are aligalignmentks for when you
assemble the rod. In most cases, they are on the
spine.
I would not take this for granted, I would still check
the assaassemblednk for a spine.
