Does anyone use furled leaders? reuven
ReuvenI obtained a large spool of 6 pound braided line which makes great furled leaders for salmon but for trout i make leaders from pearsalls pure silk tying thread which you can grease to float or use with sinkant. its memory free. to attach the tippet i add a 2mm weightless leader ring at the tip.
i tried nylon and liked it better than braided leaders but nothing compares to silk.
