Jimmy My husband won't go anywhere near a fly tying show with me. :) He stopped taking me a couple of years ago. He doesn't have the patience for them. He wants to fly through and be on his way and I stop at every table and get stopped too many times during the walk through. It's an all day event for me so I just travel with like minded individuals. It's more fun for both of us. That is why I haven't gone too far from home. I traveled with Byard to New Jersey last year. We have 6 different shows here and I've tied in at least four of them each year so I have a pretty busy schedule up here. I was recently talked back into joining the UFT board again this season. I swore off club issues for a while but a good friend asked me to help him out. If I start getting crabby in the fall you know why.... just send chocolate!!! In your case Jimmy I accept PICKLES!!! VBG! Make me an extra HOT jar to take in and share with my friends at the next board meeting. LOL Peggy and I are trying to make it to the Sowbug but it is still tight financially for me also. We're still recouping from Steve's extended vacation. I defiantly want to be there with you! Warm Regards, Deb

Believe me, Deb, Sow Bug is one of the best. You really need to get next years event on your calendar and get one of the gals like Foxy to come with you. Or heck, bring your husband. I'm sure he'd enjoy the fishing while you are tying flies. JIMMY D [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hey Everyone, I got a really nice letter from Daphne too. She must have taken a lot of time from fishing to write all these thankyou,s. Really glad she can use the flies!! Deb,,,does she do her own tying also?? Does she need any materials too?? Well,,good to know my flies do work since I havent had much chance to fish yet this year! She will turn 17 this summer but I don't think her mother will let me bring her all the way to Arkansas. I'm trying to talk her mom into bringing her to the Somerset show. I think they both would enjoy it. She's in Canada now... she won some kind of a scholarship for an all expenses paid educational week there. She's a very bright young lady. I'm glad you're all getting nice letters from her. She really loved the flies. With a little work, us'ns might be able to get Daphne and Deb to attend next year's Sow Bug.
