Tony, I wanted to make twisted rod myself after getting the book " The Angler's workshop by Letcher Lambuth."do that for years . Having for years living in the Payne Rod shop and the Leonard shop. I had a chance to work for both and teachings of tapers from William ( Bill ) Tayor . I was the one who build a oven for Walt Carpenter, that he is using today and still never receieve payment of a rod promise and he still has one I paid for that he never return . Glenn Overton

Yes, I have now have made two twisted bamboo rods. My
first one , "The Twisted Miss" I still have, it will
be passed down. The second one is now owned by Royce
Dam.
He picked it up when he was here for the Sowbug. I
have an order for the third one.
