Randy -

I have the book in my library.  If you are interested in the history of fly fishing and fly tying, it is a must read - must have.  I tcontains a wealth of information and some beautiful color plates of historic old flies, along with some specifics on tying some of them.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has read this book "Favorite Flies & Their
Histories" by Mary Orvis Maybury

I found a copy for sale online and was wondering if it was worth buying.

Thanks in advance

P.S. here's the description of the book
