RC I like any book on patterns but going back and reading the real history
and originators is always special and another having very accurate
information is FISH FLIES ' by Terry Hellekson .This is a must needed book
on fly pattern and the history is very accurate ...

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has read this book "Favorite Flies & Their
Histories" by Mary Orvis Maybury

I found a copy for sale online and was wondering if it was worth buying.

Thanks in advance

P.S. here's the description of the book

Favorite Flies & Their Histories. Secaucus, NJ - Wellfleet Press - 1988
