I just noticed the picture in the upper right hand corner showing two lines
of various tubes in the reference you gave me below. The same article in my
magazine is missing the second line of tubes which all happen to be Shumakov
Tubes. (Must have been omitted in error). You can clearly see the plastic
liner tubing extending from the nose of 4 of the 5 tubes in the second line
of tubes. The exception being the tube on the lower right, which has a
different shape and room to tie the materials on the brass body, whereas the
4 tubes to the left all have a tapered nose and the plastic tube is extended
so that the materials may be tied to it.

I think you have answered my question.
