Thanks Deb: I was really surprised at how small these tubes are. I have seen the Loop bottle type tubes in a local tackle shop, but the Loop tubes were larger than these. I'm wondering how big a fly one can tie on Shumanov's tubes. I can't try them out at the moment, as I am remodeling my apartment and my fly tying equipment is currently inaccessible. The plastic liner tube is pretty thin - about 2mm. - not much to attach to but then a salmon hook is not much different in wire diameter!
