Buggs: Same here.. We have em in any creek here..
takes a bunch of em, but it's better than the price they ask at the seafood
place...All ya gotta do is walk the creeks here and turn over rocks and you'll
have a bucketful in no time, and yeah, they do taste better..One reason is
because they are fresh and haven't been frozen, or refrigerated for no telling
how long like the fish markets or supermarkets, Chuck

Chuck- don't want to suck the heads or eat the
tails unless they're boiled Cajun-style. And I got so spoiled by the
wild crawfish, I can't even eat the farmed kind now.

Try crawfish patterns now that they're
there.
Boil your crawfish using Zatarain's boil
seasoning (the bag kind)- use recipes found on internet for Louisiana or
Cajun boiled seafood.
You'll need a few pounds to make it worth
your while. The bigger the better, too.

I have been catching
signal crayfish that are invading our waters here in
England.
Now can anyone give me a good recipe to try
them with, if so please mail me off list cause although it is sort of
fishing related I would not want to tie up the space on the
VFB.
Wouldnt want a rollocking from Byard or I
might have to become a redneck.
