Although I like synthetics I prefer the look of flies tied with natural materials. I use a lot of bucktail and Whiting American and Flatwing feathers on my saltwater flies. I use the Coq De Leon feathers on my squid patterns because of the translucent qualities of it. So that would be the stuff I couldn't do without. Regards, Deb
