[VFB] Dying Feathers with Wine

Anyone ever tried dying feathers with a good  red wine, like a Pinot 
Noir, or a Merlot or a Cabernet ?  Sure is hard to get red wine out of a 
white table cloth.  Also, the trout would probably go NUTS over it.
