Nev and all,
thanks to all who answered on and offline, Finally I bought a Hardy 9WT
fast sinking spey line, whatever this is - at least a sinking fly line.
I will try this line out.
Question? How can I be sure that this is really a Hardy/Cortland line?
Ok, it is in its original package, but is there any detail on the line.
I know, zilly question, but look at my last name <G>

Hardy's fly lines are currently made for them by Cortland. Cortland also

Angler SA (3M).
The truth of the matter is that they are all good. I personally would avoid
a cheap floating line as I purchased one once and it wanted to sink
resulting in frequent applications of Mucilin and other floating agents.
I would look on ebay. Airflo sinkers work well for me, but so do Cortland &
SA.

Group,
I'm in the market to buy a new line. I want to get a full sink line to fish
for Zander (similar to walleye). Any suggestion what to buy? I can get from
Rio Products, Orvis, 3M, Cortland, Wulff. Is it really worth to spend a lot
of money for the expensive brands? What's your opinion.
Rene
