Once you borax a skin, (pheasant skins, with feathers attached), what's the best way to take care of the wings???... Now don't nobody tell me I got to de-bone em... <BG>...
Put a 'glob' of borax in your hand and work it into the 'stump' of the wing. If you want to be really sure, put the wing in a big plastic bag with the "stump" imbedded in borax and let it sit for a week or so.
That's the simple way. The technical taxidermists on the list will probably have a much more involved process. <g>
