I have used the "No-Knot Eyelet" to attach leader to line for many
years.  Still like it.   It is a straight barbed metal shaft (like a
straightened out hook) with an eye on the end.  This is inserted into
the end of your fly line, and the leader is tied (I use a clinch knot)
to it.  I have seen furled leaders, and many on this list are confirmed
furled leader users, and so I am considering a change.  Perhaps this
next season I will venture out of my dinosaur mode and do something new.
