I have used the "No-Knot Eyelet" to attach leader to line for many years. Still like it. It is a straight barbed metal shaft (like a straightened out hook) with an eye on the end. This is inserted into the end of your fly line, and the leader is tied (I use a clinch knot) to it. I have seen furled leaders, and many on this list are confirmed furled leader users, and so I am considering a change. Perhaps this next season I will venture out of my dinosaur mode and do something new.
