    The ribbing might not help fish catching BUT it definitely helps to make

      I have used camel hair and llama hair to tie flies like the GRHE and they 
work well.  I skip the gold rib most of the time because it doesn't make any 
difference to the fish I catch.

      I have tested them side by side, rib or not, and can't see a  difference.
